 — with Brittany McMillan and 2 others.

There was so much fun in my birthday weekend that I'm a little bit afraid that I might forget to write something down!

Daddy called me when I was on my home from Morgan and Brandon's house, so we didn't talk long, but it made me remember that he had his stroke about this time two years ago, and how his birthday call is so important to me, and how happy and grateful I am to still be getting that call.

Johnny called me fairly early in the morning, and Daddy said Johnny had told him that he planned to do that so that he wouldn't get into any trouble. ;-) Mark sent me a text in the morning, called and left a message that evening, and we got to talk on Sunday. Good visits with both of them. Martha sent a text, and Dono posted something on my timeline. I even got a phone call from Kelly!

I almost missed Andrew --- we had the t.v. up so loud I didn't hear my cell and barely heard the house phone, and then his phone wouldn't let me leave a message --- but we got to talk. I could tell he was exhausted so we didn't talk long, but it made me happy to hear from him. Annette and Brittany both called earlier in the day.

JA posted Happy Birthday early, early in the morning, and I got to talk to Beverly later in the day. Angela and Tori and Kennedy were all here at different parts of the day, so I got lots of love and visits and hugs and we played cards.

Beth sent me a text early in the day and offered to take me to see a movie at the Crescent, but we decided to go to the arts and crafts festivals, stopping first at the Pelican. We had lunch there, and then, since she had told me that she thought Morgan was ready for visitors, I really just wanted to ditch the Dauphin Island Art Trail and drive over and see Davis. So, we did that. I got to just sit in quiet and hold him, while Brandon did dishes and washed windows and Morgan and Beth folded clothes in the back bedroom, the sound of their voices and laughter drifting into the living room. Rodney brought her out, so I got birthday hugs from him, and Vivian called me as we were leaving the Pelican. She was pretty excited because her sister had gotten them a rug shampooer and she was going to get to clean her carpet. Zak called me when he got home from working in Foley, to tell me happy birthday and let me know that he'd decided not to work on Sunday after all, and so would be with us for Second Sunday Supper.

John and Kim and Noah called while we were on our way to Morgan's house. When Noah first spoke, it confused me a lot. It didn't sound like John, but it didn't sound like Noah either. His voice is just deeper, and in a very grown up voice he asked, "Do you have any plans for your birthday?"

When Chris came for Second Sunday Supper he gave me a hug and said Happy Birthday. Chelsea posted on my Facebook.

Beth gave me a cute bird painted on a piece of wood. Annette gave me a blanket and a candle and some soap and some great slippers. The Reeds gave me a collection of yummy bath stuff --- for bath and shower. Kim made some pumpkin bread for me. :-)
