Writing shack time is important to my well-being for a lot of reasons that I am only just now beginning to understand, so I am glad that I have it, and that I should soon be able to resume it. It keeps me connected to myself, and reassures me that I am weighing in on how my life and my moments are spent, that I have some control over my days and my destiny. This lightning strike is making it hard, and making me realize what I lost.
Andrew came by to see me this morning, and stayed and visited for a little bit. I was really glad to see him, and glad he had time to talk to me and tell me how things are going. He said that he's an engineer, but that he wasn't raised that way, so he talks to everybody, and the people at Disney like him and like working with him, and like the way he talks. They tell him it has to be better somewhere else and he tells them that it is, that all they have to do is get over those mountains. They did get him a project manager, which should help some, but that fella just left for Europe for three weeks, so it didn't help a lot. Andrew said they had a nice visit with Nana and Granddad, and that Granddad looked well.
JA got his Father's Day card and said it made him smile.
Angela went with us to have lunch yesterday so we got to hang out a little and that was fun. She and Papa talked about t.v. shows they like. We went to Best Buy to replace our lightning strike tv, and she helped us do some research.
Beth and Rodney spent the weekend touring in California, and they had a great time. Pictures on Facebook.
Morgan posted 100 days till Davis gets here.
Faith and Michael came over to swim, and Michael brought his girlfriend. I got to put on my new bathing suit and visit with them in the pool a little bit. Faith is very excited about her new puppy.
We saw Evan and Chelsea and Jaden at the Waffle House, and Jaden leaned in to give me a kiss, twice.
Barry and I went to Firefly landing and relaxed a bit. It got hot pretty fast.
just another day in paradise

One of our main excitements for this trip was to get an awesome workout in with @hannaheden_fitness at @pumpfit_club
And oh boy was it a workout... after 3 days, my legs are finally starting to recover.

•Hannah, I have never met someone that is as genuine in person as they are on social media. Mom and I felt so motivated by you after we left the gym, thank you for such an amazing workout! We wish you the most luck on your journey in Iceland, we just know you are gonna kill it
