2018 Joy Journal

January 19 Heard from Beverly Bertice telling me to wash my hands and stay away from sick people. This tickled me because I'm always the one nurturing everyone. Morgan saying she likes when I post those things because she trusts them.

January 20 Got to visit with Sue Carney (at the Women's March) Tyler And Noah laughing,  They were in the reading room just laughing and laughing. I sat on the sofa in the family room, closed my eyes, leaned my head back, and just soaked up the sound. 

March 23, 2018 I cut my writing time short a bit to go walk with Bertice, and then stayed for a cup of coffee. I had left my phone at home, and what I thought was 10:30 was actually 12:30. We just visited so easily, and I had such a good time. She gave me some ideas about my pottery and she thanked me twice for sharing my perspective on something she asked me about.  And then I went and got my hair done, and Amber had everything ready for her contribution to the raffle baskets and said that she had talked to her daughter about it. It was just a sweet time. Angela seemed pretty happy this morning. 

October 3, 2018 I'm so excited about it being writing shack day, I can hardly contain myself! Excited because I've managed to cross a lot of things that were bothering me and so all of my other little areas feel well taken care of, and I can just rejoice in this day.  Elaine and I had lunch together yesterday, and about half way through she said that she'd seen my letter in Lagniappe, and that it was really good, and really well written. The non-verbals that accompanied her words made me feel like she and I are in agreement, and that was very comforting. I stopped by Zak and Vivian's and visited Vivian and Beth and Linda and Morgan for a little bit, since they were there having lunch together. I got to talk to Daddy and Kathi yesterday. The second thing she said to me was, "I'm just wondering when we're going to have a great, great-grandbaby!" July 31, 2018 Brittany invited me to come sit with her and Bella if I needed to use their internet.  Heard back from Beverly, but I'd already settled in to bed, so we didn't get to talk.  Talked to Angela a little bit. She said they were watching a movie, and I had really accidentally dialed her right after sending her a text.  Evan popped over a minute, so I talked to him. Heard from Faith. She said she was having a good day at work.  Did I tell you that Vivian stopped by to visit with us for a little bit?
