I'm so excited about it being writing shack day, I can hardly contain myself! Excited because I've managed to cross a lot of things that were bothering me and so all of my other little areas feel well taken care of, and I can just rejoice in this day.
Elaine and I had lunch together yesterday, and about half way through she said that she'd seen my letter in Lagniappe, and that it was really good, and really well written. The non-verbals that accompanied her words made me feel like she and I are in agreement, and that was very comforting.
I stopped by Zak and Vivian's and visited Vivian and Beth and Linda and Morgan for a little bit, since they were there having lunch together.
I got to talk to Daddy and Kathi yesterday. The second thing she said to me was, "I'm just wondering when we're going to have a great, great-grandbaby!" Daddy said that thinking about it had made him wonder how his great, great-grandfather looked. I could hear excitement in his voice.
Daddy said that Andrew had been down to see them this past Saturday. He told me that Andrew had let them know he'd like to come visit them while he was in Orlando, so he had called to tell Andrew of three Saturdays in October when they were going to be free. Daddy said, "I think I called on a Friday, and he said, 'What about tomorrow?" and I could tell that tickled him.
