The good news is that I finished Wonderland month end and most of the big tasks. I almost have a clear path for focusing on something else. I have to do something about the certificate of insurance on the pickup and I have to do Derek's payroll, so not as clear a shot as I would like, but since Wonderland has chewed up the rest of the week, I'm glad to have a chance to get to work on other things. 

 Erin will be here Monday, so that will shave some time off on my weekend chores. 

 Evan said that I should see him or Chelsea this morning.

 I got a text from Amber. She said that the city has been fun so far and weird to adjust to living there. She said that she is finding new opportunities every day and learning new things about herself. She's planning a trip home October 2 - 6 and plans on making time to catch up. 
(Beth) I feel like I may have said this before, likely multiple times, but I'm gonna do it again so buckle up. I am so so proud of my girl, the mommy she already is and the mama she will become. I am 100% certain our Davis won the parent lottery with her and Brandon. OMG, GIVE ME THE BABY ALREADY!

January 9 Well, we won the National Championship. In the three years that I have actually be watching football, we've come close, but never gotten it, at least I don't think so. Anyway, last night's game was stressful, but we came away with the prize, so that was good. January 8 Second Sunday Supper was joyous last night. Andrew seemed relaxed and started off sitting by Barry and talking about pickups and I heard him say, "I'm not sure I made the right decision," in son-asking-father tone. And then John came in and the three of them discussed the comparative pluses and minuses of various makes and models of pickups.  Kim went straight to pet Mama Cat.  When I said that Tori and Josh were still good friends, still good to each other, had just decided that they didn't have the kind of fire that takes you through all of life's troubles, I ended up looking at Kim, who was nodding as in how important that is, and I remember her saying about meeting John, "It isn't like I didn't know right when I met him that he was the one." February 10, 2018 My favorite hotdogs, on buns warmed in the toaster with just the right amount of ketchup, mustard and pickle, the hotdogs grilled in the small skillet with cheese melted over them at the very last. Perfectly delicious. Followed by Breyer's vanilla ice cream topped with Coops hot fudge sauce. A favorite meal. All by my quiet, unobserved self. And when I got the date and time set up on my elliptical, and my user profile set up, and got my iPod hooked up to it so that it will stay charged up it made my heart race. I'm so excited!!!
