Well, let's see.... I'm glad that I walked one lap around the yard after supper. I was headed for three but it started to sprinkle and I wanted to go to the office after the walk and didn't want to get wet. I'm glad that I went back out to the office. I'm glad that I made it through some important tasks. I'm glad I sent the thank you email to Horizon. 

 Angela sent me a text early yesterday morning, checking on us. Later in the day I heard from Tori and from Kennedy. They're having a good time in California. 

 Heard from Brittany --- She didn't fracture anything but she has an MRI scheduled to check on her ankle. 

 JA answered my Goodtimes text.... "I miss y'all, too!"

 So I told Brandon two nights ago that he should start reading some stories to Davis so that Davis can recognize his voice when he's born. I explained that he hears me talk all day and that if he hears the stories or certain music in my belly he will also recognize them when he's born. So two nights ago he was like okay I'll read him a book (even though I think he thought it was kind of dumb and he doesnt like to read books) but either way he happily read him one. And it was adorable. And then last night after we were done watching tv he said "okay let's go get a book to read to Davis before we go to bed" and now I'm crying remembering it because he's going to be such a good daddy 😩😭

January 9 Well, we won the National Championship. In the three years that I have actually be watching football, we've come close, but never gotten it, at least I don't think so. Anyway, last night's game was stressful, but we came away with the prize, so that was good. February 10, 2018 My favorite hotdogs, on buns warmed in the toaster with just the right amount of ketchup, mustard and pickle, the hotdogs grilled in the small skillet with cheese melted over them at the very last. Perfectly delicious. Followed by Breyer's vanilla ice cream topped with Coops hot fudge sauce. A favorite meal. All by my quiet, unobserved self. And when I got the date and time set up on my elliptical, and my user profile set up, and got my iPod hooked up to it so that it will stay charged up it made my heart race. I'm so excited!!!

January 8 Second Sunday Supper was joyous last night. Andrew seemed relaxed and started off sitting by Barry and talking about pickups and I heard him say, "I'm not sure I made the right decision," in son-asking-father tone. And then John came in and the three of them discussed the comparative pluses and minuses of various makes and models of pickups.  Kim went straight to pet Mama Cat.  When I said that Tori and Josh were still good friends, still good to each other, had just decided that they didn't have the kind of fire that takes you through all of life's troubles, I ended up looking at Kim, who was nodding as in how important that is, and I remember her saying about meeting John, "It isn't like I didn't know right when I met him that he was the one."
