I forgot to hit the record button on my phone, but Vivian recorded it on Morgan's phone --- the blessing --- and I turned to Annette, whose hand I was holding, and asked "Did you get that?" With, "that'd be too exciting to be true," on her face, she asked, "Is that for her," and with my nod rushed over to give Morgan and Brandon hugs, and the whole room was awash in handshakes and hugs and celebration.

Skyler said that she'll be driving in June, that she'd passed her Driver's Ed course but had to have her permit for 6 months before she could drive. I congratulated her and then said, "But you aren't sixteen," and she said, "I am sixteen!" and we hugged and laughed.

The professor who is guiding Brittany through her thesis presented their project to the mayor of Dauphin Island who presented it the town council, and they have agreed to accept the findings of her project and follow her recommendations!!!

Michael and Daniel set the table and chairs up for me.

The younger bunch gathered at the square table, the older grandbabies at card tables in the family room.

Morgan and Brandon and Angela stayed and helped me put things away.

I asked Andrew what was wrong with his leg. He said, "Nothing. Just getting old. I've lifted that tire a hundred times." John said, "When we go to walk Chewy there's a short way, a medium way and a long way. When Noah's asks which route we're taking, I tell him, "I don't know. We'll see how my knee is doing when we get to the corner."

Shawn called during supper so he was able to talk to Morgan and get the good news directly from her. I'l have to ask her about his side of the conversation --- I just heard her say three times, "I'm pregnant!"

Morgan called Beverly, Beverly called Beth but Beth didn't answer, Beverly sent me a text, I sent her a text, I said "call me then," and she did but right then Beth did call her back, and so I waited.

Morgan called Kennedy and Tori. Chelsea was here and so will probably tell Evan.

Got lots of hugs.

Faith was our cashier when we went out to eat Saturday night. She gave us the old people's special. ;-)

Btittany, "Do you want me to cut the roast?"

Annette taking care of the rolls and gravy.

I'm excited! I just got an email from Don Mosley saying that the executive committee would like me to be the secretary next year!
